  Sepang Goldcoast resort, now known as Avani Sepang Goldcoast resort is a perfect vacation place on my wish list. My beloved boyfie has planned this trip to bring me to the Avani Sepang Goldcoast during my 26th birthday. We are so lucky to be able to book a superior room which will normally cost about RM700 with only RM380 ~ ~ ~ So excited!!!! It tooks us about 4 hours drive from Penang island to reach there. Upon arrival, boyfie drop me at the lobby entrance and he needs to park the car outside of the resort where buggy will be at service. Immediately, I'm greet by the hotel staff and the luggage has been taken care of. This is the nice part staying at a good hotel! Then I proceed to check in while waiting for boyfie to join me from parking....

  After taking shower and get some rest back in hotel, we headed out for some round the island activity!!! 1st stop we went to the famous black sand beach or Pantai Pasir Hitam, located at Jalan Teluk Yu on the north side of the island. According to the local folklore (information replicated from information board):   The black sand at this beach was the outcome of an ancient civil war between the Land Kingdom and the Underwater Kingdom. The was started when a mermaid princess from the Underwater Kingdom fell in love and ran away with the prince of the Land Kingdom. The war was basically a one-sided affair, since the Underwater Kingdom had more troops than the Land Kingdom. However, the Land Kingdom had a wise man who gave brilliant advise to help secure their victory. Day 2 Morning: Island Hooping   After having our breakfast at Hotel Bahagia, we head to Underwater World located at Pantai Cenang to meet up our pick up van with the contact provided by the guy where we rent our Myvi. We got a fair price from this guy of RM25 per person, with the recommendation from car rental guy : )   However, the van that they use to pick us up is old and bad in shape, with the air-cond not working well : ( But we are just taking this van for a short distance so we don't really mind. We were told to wait at the beach side to be call on board, so we waited and took some photos!   And finally our boat has come and we have to literally walk into the water in order to get up to the boat, it is kind of difficult for mummy to get up the boat but she manage with papa's help *sweet sweet oh* And after everyone get set with their life jacket, the boat is ready to go!!
