Raja Uda Cafe: Gathers Cafe :)))

It has been a while since my last update and I notice I have lots of photos as material and topics for my blog which I have left aside for quite sometime. And today I'm going to write about a café that I have visited not long ago and I would like to share with all of you :)

Maybe most of us will know about all the famous café that is located in Penang Island, and certainly we will not think of café located in mainland. At least for those coming from Penang Island I would say. However, due to the craves for dessert and coffee during my visit to my boyfie house, we decided to look up if there is any nice café in Raja Uda, and we found this cozy café that serves nice food and with lots of house rule....

Once we step into the café, we notice the cozy ambient with the chic interior design, which is a nice spot to spend your lovely Saturday afternoon. Besides that, we also notice that there is a board with lots of written house rule which surprised me!! I would say that the concepts of this café is so special, which emphasis of the quality of ambient for his customer to enjoy their good food and coffee. Basically, you are not welcome if you are not able to follows the rules. Did I mentioned what is the rules?? You are not suppose to make loud noise, either from yourself or your children and etc....

Upon sit down, the waitress hand us with the menu. From various type of coffee and tea to waffles, I would say that the menu is not very extensive but is enough to serve as a high tea café. Let's take a look on what we have ordered.

Caramel Latte, with such a cute bear design <3

Hot Fresh milk

Roasted Ham with Tuna Liege Waffle

I did not order their famous Ice-cream coffee Affogato, with a cute snowman design, you may give it a try during your visit. As overall, I find the waffles and drinks serves are good. If you think you will be able to obey the house rules, then it will be a sweet spot to spend a lovely afternoon time in Gathers Café, Raja Uda, because this café also assure you will not be disturb while you are enjoying your sweet afternoon time.

Langkawi Seafood: 同心圆 GLK TONG SHAM YUN Seafood Restaurant

Langkawi Day 1: Dinner   We have chosen Tong Sham Yun Seafood as our first night dinner. Read a few review about Wonderland and Tong Sham Yun which is located side by side in Kuah town, I decided to go to Tong Sham Yun as the review is better in term of service and charge.   And we can see that Wonderland is full of foreigners that dine in there, while Tong Sham Yun have more of local or Malaysian tourist. The atmosphere is nice, located just beside a river and the dining is open aired. The owner is nice and friendly, recommended a few dishes which I think is definitely recommended!!! First on the list, the santan prawn 椰汁虾 (RM 27). Nice and sweet, with the aroma of santan and some spice such as curry, the combination is very nice and it taste surprise to me. I have never taste prawn which is cook in this manner and it is good : ) Definitely thumbs up for this!   The steam fish, freshly catch (not the frozen type). Cost us RM 8 per 100g (RM 48 in total), the owner has ch

Where to eat in Langkawi: Chinese coffee shop

Saw a lot of post complaint about there is no Chinese food in Langkawi, so here I am to share where did I find Chinese food in Langkawi during my trip.   Besides the seafood restaurant Tong Sham Yun Seafood  which you could read about the review following the link above, I'm gonna share about the lunch that we had after island hooping.   This is the kind of coffee shop that we could find around Malaysia, however I did not see much in Langkawi. We found it on our way back to hotel in the afternoon, located at the end of the same street where Hotel Bahagia located. Sorry for not remember the name of the shop, but it is easy to spot if you can find Hotel Bahagia, or follow the coordination I shared below.   There is not much variety or stall in the shop, and we saw most of the customer are from local and many of them are having Pan Mee. So we follow and ordered dried Pan Mee which cost RM 5.00. Quite reasonable in fact, knowing we are tourist : ) All of us feel satisfy with th
